In 2018, Erin Scott-Kafadar and Alexander Richardson presented their critically acclaimed show, Para Dos to many sold out theatres across Canada. This summer they return from Buenos Aires with a brand new show, Into the Tango. This show immerses audiences into the passion, drama and intimacy of Argentine tango with a unique twist, tango on pointe! Showcasing fantastic lifts, elegant and crisp ballet, dazzling turns and flawless tango, reviewers rave about PointeTango’s performance as a “visual feast”, “carnal, stylish and a bit cheeky”, “pure magic” and “breathtakingly beautiful!” PointeTango aims to deliver another astounding program of contemporary dance featuring a varied score of traditional Argentine tango, classical piano and contemporary music.
